Today, I’m shaing my favorite blondie recipe ever. Ok, so a blondie isn’t technically a cookie but can you really pass these up?
When I first spotted pretzel M&Ms on the shelves a couple years ago, I immediately threw them into blondies, sat on my tush, and happily gobbled up one sweet & salty bite after bite. I shared these blondies on my blog earlier this year and my readers adored them.
I know you’ll love them as well.
The blondie recipe begins by browning some butter. I swear by browning butter – it adds so much depth and flavor to your baked good – so many caramel and butterscotch undertones. Brown butter is my kitchen’s secret little ingredient. And it’s so easy! It makes the house smell incredible as it’s browning.
The rest of the recipe is pretty straightfoward – flour, brown sugar, egg, baking powder, & vanilla. And you can mix it all up by hand. No mixer required!
The finished blondies are so soft and chewy – they completely melt in your mouth! The crunchy m&ms, the salty pretzels, buttery dough – my new favorite blondie. And they are SO easy to make.
