I Love Airports!

WOW – what a day yesterday!  For those of you who read yesterday’s post -I was supposed to be in Tennessee today…. well guess what?  After two flight cancellations and 18 hours in airports and planes – I am in Toronto.  Which in reality is about a 2 hour flight from my house.  All I can say is grrrrrrrrr.

Pepperoni Mushroom Feta Pizza

But the good news is – I had a couple of good things to eat.  I forgot my camera - so i took pictures with my cell phone ( forgive the quality).

So let’s call this section as my buddy calls it “Travel Junk Food”

Oatmeal Raisin Spice Cookies

Blueberry Fritter

Mild Chicken Wings

So lets hope that today goes a little smoother – and that the eating gets a little healthier.  Does anyone know any must see restaurant visits in Jackson Tennessee? I will be there for the next couple of days.

Thanks everyone and I hope you have a great Tuesday!

Take care

zesty

I can’t believe that you only made it 2 hours away from your house. I hope you reach your destination soon and safely! Love all the airport eats!

Hope you make your destination soon!

I bet the blueberries on your chicken recipe tasted much better than the ones in that airport fritter. I live in Nashville, about 2 hours from Jackson, but I don’t have any restaurants to recommend. Jackson is somewhat small. I’m sure some locals can direct you to some good down-home southern fare! Safe travels.

You poor thing! You’re only about a 45 minute drive from me! I hope this icky, snowy weather doesn’t delay you any longer!

Dude, that sucks. At least you are getting some goodies! Crap, I did know a restaurant in Jackson, but I can’t remember the name for the life of me. I was there 15 years or so ago and me and my folks went to a steakhouse that was just unbearably good. It’s probably gone by now anyway… So just get some BBQ, you won’t be disappointed!

Bummer about the travel. I’m headed out on Sunday and hope it goes smoothly. Travel food can always get interesting. Ha, ha! That pizza actually looks pretty good. Have a great time in TN!

Traveling can be such a pain, but you can never go wrong with wings :)

How was the blueberry fritter? I’ve only heard of apple fritters.

Isn’t Tennessee (sp?) supposed to be great for bbq? Hope you will have a great time.
