Two of my favorite things…. wrapped together.
Holy Yum.
The plump juicy shrimp roasted to perfection, complimented by the thin salty prosciutto – a match made in oven.

Zesty Tip: The old saying holds true when cooking seafood. DO NOT overcook! The shrimp will become almost like rubber and it will feel like eating the bottom of your shoe. Trust your judgment and take them out when the time dictates.
The shrimp were huge! So juicy and flavorful and with the roasted prosciutto on the outside ( slightly salty ) – I was in heaven. These guys are super easy to make and I am positive your guests will be impressed. Lets just say everyone in the room put their hand up to try one of these.

I love shrimp. I would even dare say that they are one of my favorite foods. You receipe looks yummy, but my favorite way to eat them is boiled with spicy cocktail sauce. Yum!
oh man, these look great! I don’t think I’ve ever had prosciutto – I know, right?
I love shrimp in stir frys and on pasta.
I luv anything shrimp!
Enjoy!
i think that anything wrapped in prosciutto is good
. never thought to try shrimp with prosciutto, but that’s got to be amazing!
Next to bacon, prosciutto is the other meat that makes other meat taste great. I am going to make these for my open house this year. Thanks for the idea.
I love Coconut Shrimp!
Have you ever made it? Got a good and easy recipe? Share Please!
I always eat it when I go out, but would love to try and make it at home.
Also had Almond Shrimp at a fancy place years ago and it was the best shrimp I have ever had.
i have a recipe that is done with chili peppers, garlic (lots!!) parsley and it’s cooked in olive oil.. I also add a portuguese pimento paste and tabasco to kick it up
one of my fave meals with crusty portuguese bread and a salad when I’ve forgotten to take something out for dinner (and this defrosts quickly) none the less, your recipe is an elegant one and i’d probably lay some finely chopped garlicon the shrimp (or marinate it) to add more zing..
Just might make this tomorrow!
Coming from a state that gets fresh seafood anytime(have fish markets on both Gulf and Atlantic sides of state)I rarely eat shrimp. Being on a restricted budget during the summer months mean that shrimp is not on the menu. But if it was the only way I can eat shrimp is if they are fried. I would try a roasted shrimp with prosciutto, just for the prosciutto. Any time bacon or its cousin prosciutto is involved, I will be there.
