Potato…warm, comforting, and everyone likes them!
Not that everyone actually likes me, I just like to pretend they do.
Zucchini — Dynamic and lots of flavor on its own or absorbs the flavor of other things!
fun! i would be a tomato – i know it’s technically a fruit, but people use it as a veggie!
asparagus….im memorable after u meet me (just like the scent asparagus leaves in ur pee! hahaha)
My first thought was an artichoke, because it takes such a long time to eat…however, I don’t think I’m prickly…
Brussel sprouts, because they look really interesting on the stalk. But I love the color of an eggplant, so maybe that should be me!
I would be asparagus, long and thin, opposite of my human form.
Favorite Zesty dessert recipe is Pumpkin Cheesecake. Made it for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it!
I would be a sweet potato. Comforting, health-conscious, and of course, sweet!
Sweet potato… so versatile and goes with anything!
I would be Brussels sprouts, because they’re so delicious!
I would be a brussels sprout ….misunderstood, many-layered, and well worth getting to know.
I would be broccoli, not to everyone’s taste!
I think I would like to be peas. You get to climb up the string and sway in the breeze as the sun is beating down on you. The weather is warm to cool. Birds and cats do not like you. For that fact pests pretty much stay away. You get to make people happy and you get to hear them laugh as they sit around opening you up to the treasure you have inside. Yep, peas it is!!!
I would be a potato… soft and comforting.
Asparagus- Tall, skinny, favorite season is spring, and my cousins are onion and garlic–we make a great trio!
I would be Eggplant because then I could be smothered in a savory Italian sauce. Plus, who doesn’t want to be purple for a day?
Red Bell Pepper because it is bright, inviting, sweet, and great company for just about all other foods.
I’d be a zucchini! So versatile and delicious!
If I was a vegetable, I would be…a carrot. I am versatile like a carrot. (carrots can be in soups, salads, slaw, a sweet salad, and even in dessert.
I’d be a brussels sprout: peel away a few of the outside layers and you find a tender, tasty interior.
If I were a veggie, I would be lettuce…it goes well with a lot of things and many people like it!
I would say I am a beet: unique in color, better with a little salt, and vibrant.
I would be a carrot – healthy and slim
I’d have to say an onion. They have many layers and are actually quite sweet. They are the perfect compliment to so many dishes!
I’d be an onion – many layers, but basically good right through.
I would be a sweet potato, because they’re sweet and I could be dipped in various dips! win, win.
Well, Zesty, I’d have to say butternut squash because I’m versitile, love to ramble and am ready for anything, all winter long.
Broccoli! Sooooo delicious, and I’d pretty much have the coolest hair ever. Veggie-fro!
I’d love to be asparagus – so tall, slender and crunchy
Tomato is the me that I am!!!! Colorful, juicy and sweet! Needs lots and lots of sunshine, water and love to help me to grow into the lusciousness that I am.
Pair me with any other veggie and Mr. Basil or Mr. Mint or any other Mr. Herb and together we create some of the wonders of the culinary world that delight and nourish our caretakers and lovers!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good night!!!
Lois
I would say – Celery. It is a crunchy food that people either love or hate. It can be used in a variety of savoury dishes or on it own.
Sweet Potato, goes with everything.
I would be an aparagus. Goes wonderfully with bacon but can be an elegant side. Typically long and skinny and I have never been that.
I would be a red bell pepper – versatile and useful in many different fashions.
I think I would be a carrot – just because I love to eat them, they are good for you, and nobody has picked the lowly carrot yet!!
Hmmm this is a tough one. I would go with a potato because it can be cooked in so many different ways and works hard to make others happy. I would be fried for my 5 yr old (lots of fun times together) baked for my other 5 year old (we take it easy) mashed for my 3 year old (she thinks she is in charge but she really isnt) and all 3 for the baby because sometimes he wants to chill other times he wants to play and other times he thinks he is in charge. Hello my name is Christine and I’m a potato =)
i would be broccoli because its great hot or cold and goes with so many meals!
i would be a brussel sprout…i just love em!
If I were a vegetable, I’d be… Brussels sprouts! Why?
Treat me wrong, and I’m terrible to be around.
But treat me right… and I’m heaven on a plate.
… or something like that
I’d be an artichoke! with some effort you get to a tasty heart! I liked the facebook page!
Let’s go for pumpkin! It’s a squash, so I’ll be a pumpkin. =) You can do so much with pumpkin, it’s so versatile and useful! The seeds are great, and you can make so many different great desserts with it. Also good for savory dishes. And to top it all off you can paint them, carve them, and light them. People love them and they make us love the season, and feel all warm and fuzzy! They’re good all around…not just for food!
I would have to say eggplant. They’re a beautiful color and very yum!
I would say a tomato (but I think its a fruit) so I guess I would be a corn. I love corn!
I’d be a sweet potato!
I’m a short, plump eggplant now, so would like to be tall, slender asparagus for part of my life.
I would be a artichoke, you have to peel back layers to get to the good stuff.
I would be a pea. Very bouncy and lively!
I would be corn because I like being a “husky” fellow.
I like Zesty Cook on Facebook
The first thing I would make would have to be molasses cookies.
My favorite holiday dish is definitely pumpkin pie
I feel like a tomato these days, after so many parties and goodies in December, I’m feeling pretty round!
I’d be a mushroom. Roast me – stuff me – cook me with wine, butter and cream – YUMMY!!! (Besides, I’m already treated like one at work : ) )
Peas-they are small but noticable because of the pop in your mouth. Not the life of the party but never ignored.
I’m Spinach because I am versatile : )
I would be a chili pepper because they are bright, beautiful, spicy and flavorful.
Tomato, Red, Juicy, and very versatile.
I would be asparagus. It is elegant and special.
A sweet potato..well because I am sweet of course!
Sweet pepper–Bright and not *too* sweet.
I would be a cauliflower, because people could mash me, eat me raw or steamed. I would go great with anything.
A pea.
Why? Because I love eating frozen peas. Plus, they’re pretty adorable in VeggieTales.
If I were a vegetable I would be sweet corn. Being from Iowa, corn is in abundance…it’s just so sweet and comforting.
Butternut squash because it is healthy and can be sweet or spicy.
An onion… many layers and lots of flavors. Goes with anything!
Maybe a sweet potato – sweet, healthy and very colorful
I think I would have to be a stalk of corn….sweet, enjoyed by almost everyone and at its best in late summer early fall:)
I’d be sugar snap peas, maybe. Sweet, best in its entirety (rather than shelled), great raw or hot.
I WOULD BE A HUGEEEEEE bunch of Spinach! Although… if you count winter squash as vegetables than I’d be one weird looking Pumutterghetti! HA HA HA! YES!
If i were to be a vegetable, i would choose to be cabbage or collard greens because these are the cheapest vegetables that provide lot of nutritional value. By being a cabbage, i would be able to provide good nutritional food to a lot of poor hungry people … eliminate hunger one cabbage at a time!
