As simple as it sounds, I’ve never tried cooking salsa. I’ve just done fresh veggies and such in a blender or food processor. I’d like to try this, and get all the flavors to mesh as one from the cooking!

Reading this only makes me even more anxious to visit my son in MO and we will make salsa and all the fixins! Although he said he found a good Tex-Mex place he wants to take me, but I opt to cook myself most of the time…just seems to taste better…

HangryPants – By cooking it youallow the flavors to become one and infuse each other as well it will break down the tomatoes slighty as well as keep longer.

So glad the Thanksgiving holiday is over. I’ve been cooking and entertaining for days and missed my time with my blogging friends.

Your salsa looks awesome! So much better than store bought. We eat alot of salsa around here, so we’ll be sure to try this recipe.

Now I’ve got to go check on all the other yummy stuff you’ve been cooking…
