I hope you had a great weekend!  I have been working on a side project for a while now off and on and the day has finally arrived.  I have been receiving tons of questions about blogging over the last year and I have been trying field the questions, help the bloggers and add value to the community.

With that said, I created a new site – zestyblogconsulting.com to help answer generic blogging questions and provide information on making better informed decisions for your blog moving forward.  The layout of this site includes blog services, tips, detailed posts on the most popular topics and a portfolio showing some of the blogs I have worked with in the past.

Quaker Update

I was unsuccessful in making the finals of the Quaker Challenge however I would still like to promote it today as the whole contest is for a great cause.  See below for the details on the finalists.

Happy Friday!  Today is an exciting day for ZestyCook.com.  It marks the debut video of zestycook as well as an opportunity for “The Hunger Project” to win $10,000.  Remember a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I was part of the Quaker Challenge.  Here is a brief recap of what this contest is all about.

Good Bite is kicking off a challenge sponsored by Quaker Instant Oatmeal that began September 25th. The challenge is called the “Awaken Your Senses” Challenge. Here’s how it works…

Twelve of the most influential bloggers have come together to share their favorite food memories. Our memories will be brought to life by David Lawrence (of Good Bite) who will translate them into a Oatmeal Creation using Quaker Instant Oatmeal and a variety of toppings. Every 2 weeks, a new round of videos will be posted where you can vote for your favorite.  With each round, semi-finalists will be selected.  We are on the third round starting today and zesty is up!  Now I realize my video is a little tacky… but we need to help the hunger project and look past my video abilities!

At the end of eight weeks the blogger’s video with the most votes wins!  And $10,000.00 will be donated to their favorite charity!

Normally I am not a b ig fan of begging people to do anything (well minus inviting me over for dinner) but this is not about me.  I really think The Hunger Project is doing a great thing and I would be so grateful to help them even further.  Please remember in order to help The Hunger Project- you need to VOTE
