Tasty Thai and Zesty Sneakers!

The final day of 2008 is upon us. I would like to wish you, in advance, a very Happy New Year before I start rambling.  This has been a great year at the Zesty house and I look forward to sharing 2009 with all of you.

No cooking tonight! We ordered in at our favorite Thai restaurant! Wow, It did not disappoint. We went with an order of homemade dumplings, fresh handmade vegetarian spring rolls and an order of Pad Thai with Chicken. I really love Thai food. I am going to share a recipe with you for my homemade Pad Thai in coming days.

A little treat after the Thai food (a stocking stuffer)

So my wife went to the boxing week blowout sale last night as she needed a new pair of running shoes.  She struck it lucky and found a nice pair of ASICS.  Now you may be wondering why I am talking about sneakers on Zesty? I normally would not but look at the color of these shoes! They are Zesty Green sneakers. I loved them so much I exclaimed, “I have to post this on zesty!”.

This is me trying get stylish with the camera.

Looking back, I think I may have gotten a little carried away with the photos of the zesty sneakers. But oh well, who doesn’t love pictures? Can you really believe it is New Years eve? What is on tap for tonight? Relaxing, Partying… do tell.

As I said earlier, I hope you have a great day and a very happy new year. Be safe and have fun.

Take care

zesty

haha love the zesty green sneakers! :) (Love Asics too, I just got a new pair about a month ago and they have not disappointed!)

NYE plans: low key. :) My mom and I are putting together a whole buffet-style selection of finger foods, appetizers, etc. My sister’s boyfriend is flying in today so we all get to finally meet him (so exciting!), AND I’m hoping to break out the new fire pit. Maybe some good ol’ fashion s’mores?

Happy New Year’s Eve, Zesty, may 2009 bring you the best! :)

Happy New Year! I also enjoy Thai food, but I don’t get it much because my girlfriend is really picky. Tonight we are probably just staying home, it’s supposed to snow pretty bad and better safe than sorry on amateur night.

Hey Zesty! Nice Asics. Pad Thai – Mmmm. Can’t wait for recipe as I’ve never made it myself. Happy New Year. My husband and I are totally lame and will probably fall asleep by 10.

Hope she gets as good wear out of her asics as my hubby did. He wore them for almost 11 years!
