Can you believe it?  Zestycook.com celebrates its 1st birthday!!  I’m having a hard time believing the day is already here.  I’ve been thinking about what I should share with you as part of the celebration and came up with a recap of the highlights throughout the year.

Zesty’s 1st Post

Wow, when I go back through my old posts I start to realize that I didn’t have a clue about what I was doing? Here is an excerpt below from my first post

Yeah you heard it right…. zestycook is on track and ready to change your experience with food forever.  Here you will find new and exciting ways to prepare everyday food, food for families with busy lifestyles and also see what I eat on a daily basis… including pictures……. read more

Most Popular Post

The biggest zesty post with over 100,000 pageviews is Super Simple Stunning Quesadillas. This post once released on October 1st, 2008 went off the charts within social media and was the first time I tried the step by step approach for you to follow along. Not too mention these quesadillas were amazing!

My Personal Favorite

As I pondered my favorite post – it took me a while to determine which post I loved the most and the final decision came down to the picture and the taste.  With that being said, I went with a sweet treat.  Do you like chocolate?  Do you like cream cheese?  Combine both and you have heaven!  Or better yet you have a Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcake.

Zesty Launches Clothing Line

It feels like forever but a few months ago I created the zesty clothing line to support the local food banks.  It was a fun project and I hope to get some more time to really promote this idea even further.  For more information head over to my online store

Major Milestones

Zesty Design

As I started reading food blogs and designing zesty – I thought I could help some food bloggers update their blog and make it more appealing.  This all started a couple months in and since has not stopped.  I really enjoy helping people and this is another way I can add value to the food blog world.   If you would like to have me look at your blog by all means contact me and let me know.

Upcoming Zesty

  • Appearance and Presentation at the Healthy Living Summit in Boston August 15th 2009.
  • Continue to help bloggers with blog design – also launch a design consulting site/blog.
  • Zesty on Video.
  • New Book.

As a special note, I want to thank you for reading zesty and making it what it is today.  I really appreciate reading all the nice comments and strive to make zestycook.com the best that it can be.  My goals for the remainder of 2009 and upcoming 2010 are pretty simple.  I want to continue interacting with you on everything food related and grow the zesty brand to a household name. I would like to introduce video posts and if time permits I would love to release a new book.  Do you think you would be interested in such an idea?

Here is to the start of a new year.  Thanks again for all your support and I am looking forward to this year.

Take care

zesty

Happy Bloggiversary Zesty! You have done a fantastic job building up your site plus your recipes and pictures ALWAYS look amazing. I can’t wait to see all the new fun things you have planned.

I think the shirt line was my favorite thing you did all year because it was/is truly just for a good cause!

Congrats!

Oh and I STILL am thinking about that – one post that has 100,000 views – how awesome is that?!
