Zesty’s New and Improved Look!

by zesty on February 3, 2011 · 11 comments

Hi All,

The virus is fixed, and we moved to Bluehost!  As well I redesigned the whole site (check out other sites I’ve done with my blog consulting biz).  Let me know what you think.  There are still a lot of tweaks and likely some links/pages that are not working properly but I wanted to get the site out there for you to see and most importantly get rid of the virus from Media temple.

Hopefully you like the new layout and if not let me know what you don’t like.

Take care

zesty

WOW Z!!! It’s FANTASTIC!!! I am such a visual person so I think it’s AWESOME you added the picture boxes at the bottom by category and your favorites.

Oh and a photography section ~ YES!!!!! I always love your pics so I am glad you are sharing how you do it. I will miss drooling over your flashing pictures at the top, but, know your posts will make up for that. Seriously though, what’s not to LOVE about the new site…it rocks!

Can’t wait to see how it all looks when you are all done because I already think you outdid yourself.

Maybe I need to do a Danica’s Daily makeover (hint, hint) ~ Kidding, you did awesome making my site too ;)

Well, I think it’s pretty. . . but I can’t get it to be a size I can actually read.

My only complaint with most recipe blogs is that I have to RETYPE the ingredients and instructions into word, because usually the typeface is too small for me to read while trying a recipe. I need BIG lettering. So I cut and past, rather than just print out. It would be nice to have “print recipe only” button, and to be able to print it any size. And to have the intro and chat edited out of the printed recipe page. One can dream. . . . :-)

Hi Bryony, If you choose the print friendly function, it will open a new window and let you choose your text size in a dropdown list. In there you can choose to print the recipe with xlarge text. Hopefully this will help and solve the issue.

Thanks

Very clean and modern looking. I wish I had the time and funds to revamp my own site. One of these days…
